School Performance Reports

School Performance Reports have been completed and are now available online -www.wwps.org (http://www.wwps.org/schools/information/performance-reports). They are also available in limited quantities at all school buildings after winter break. Each district is required to provide these reports annually to give parents and community members easily understandable information on educational programs and assessment results.    Each report includes a brief statement of the mission of the school, enrollment statistics, expenditures per student for the school year, student attendance and graduation/dropout rates, historical information on the school building and an invitation to all parents and citizens to participate in school activities.  They also list district and building goals as well as highlights from the previous school year.   Each report also specifically directs the reader to the appropriate pages of the Washington State Report Card website which shows current and historical state and national assessment scores, teacher information and much more specific student demographics.

Miles Club

The Spring Miles Club session begins on Tuesday, March 17 through May 14. Students can run on Tuesdays or Thursdays from 10:50-12:05. We will need volunteers to hand out cards and record laps during this time. It is a great way to encourage fitness at Sharpstein!

Welcome to Sharpstein!

Thank you for visiting Sharpstein Elementary School's website! We hope this will provide you with necessary information about our school, our staff, our PTA, and upcoming events. For more information, please see the calendar tab on this site or contact the front office at 527-3098.

Sharpstein relies on our PTA for it's support of many school traditions such as Back to School, Carnival, Popcorn Friday's, and Festival of the Arts.  Without parent volunteers these functions are in jeopardy of disappearing. If you are available to dontate your time or would like to become a member of PTA, please contact the front office.
